课前:

激活思维,自主预习

预习教材,自主学习探新知,完成单词与短语.

课中:

Step1:Warm up and Lead in.

1.Free talk: Listen to an old song.

2.Guessing game

3.Work in pairs, Introduce yourself.

Eg. Where were you born? When were you born? What were you like?

Step2: Listening

1.The first listening. Listen and number the questions as you hear them.

a) Who was your first teacher? __

b) What was your first school like? __

c) Where were you born? __

d) Was she strict? __

2.The second listening. Listen again and check with ( T )or(F ).

1) Betty was born in the US.

2) Betty was born in a all town.

3) Betty’s first school was a big school.

4) There were twenty-two students in Betty’s class.

5) Betty’s first teacher was strict.
